I have been developing 3D games for the Mac for a little over two years after stumbling upon Unity. I have entered several contests since then, using Unity for most of them, but also completing three entries for 2008’s Android Developer Challenge using Eclipse. Last October I began to develop software for iPhone and iPod touch, starting in Xcode for a few projects, then moving to Unity. My iPhone titles include iShuriken, iSproutAPet and Alien Sled Race. For all of the titles I have produced, I have handled all aspects of production—concept, design, coding, models, art work, sounds, music, etc. Software I regularly use includes Unity, Xcode, Gimp, Blender, Garage Band and Audacity. Developing for iPhone and iPod touch is really cool, but Macs are my first love and I really wish Apple would put up an App store for Macs like the one they have for their mobile devices to make it easier for indies to get their products sold!
