Reclaimed

You wake up on the surface of an unfamiliar planet… The last thing you remembered was the doors of the escape pod closing in front of you, and flames filling the window. As you look around, you can see another escape pod entering the atmosphere, leaving a trail of smoke. There are other survivors on this virgin world.. and more landing every day. Thousands were on your ship, now can you work together to survive.. to rebuild… Reclaimed is my third attempt at writing some sort of multiplayer role playing game. I plan to limit gameplay to the minimum required to have fun- thus preventing scope creep. The world will be yours to create! Chat with friends, build buildings, tunnel into mountains, and kill the local wildlife. Ultimately, Reclaimed will play as a multiplayer sandbox game, more than a traditional RPG or MMO. Instead, explore a world with your friends, and show off your constructions. Coming back to a world and seeing your creations there, surrounded by what others have done will really evoke feelings that you can’t find in other games. In Reclaimed, you are given an open world, and it is yours to explore and build in, however you’d like. Unlike many traditional RPGs, Reclaimed focuses on building and player interaction over combat. Reclaimed is influenced by games such as A Tale in the Desert, Dwarf Fortress, Eve Online, and various muds.
